Jerome's practice focuses primarily on criminal defense, employment law, and personal injury law.
He is admitted to practice in federal and state courts, and has criminal trial experience that is unparalleled in the region. Jerome believes in fighting a case to its conclusion, and tries his cases to verdict. His motto is 'when you compromise, you lose.'
Jerome is a 1991 graduate of Duquesne Law School, where he was a member of the Duquesne Law Review. He also won the Duquesne Law School Trial Moot Court Competition and competed in the National ABA Trial Moot Court Competition. Jerome won numerous additional awards for moot court competition, advanced legal research, legal writing, and trial practice. He is a member of the Order of Barristers. His undergraduate years were just as distinguished. As a senior at the University of Pittsburgh, he was designated as a University Scholar.
Prior to becoming the owner of a highly-respected and diversified Pennsylvania-based law firm, Jerome served as a Cambria County Public Defender; a legal analyst for a Pennsylvania-based company; and President of Planned Financial Services.

Carol Wright-Burkett
Paralegal
Carol has more than two decades of paralegal experience in the areas of civil litigation, criminal defense, family law, and intellectual property. She earned both her graduate and undergraduate degrees in Communication and Leadership from Duquesne Univeristy, and received her paralegal degree from Harrisburg Community College. Carol has worked as a paralegal in large firms, boutique firms, and sole practitioner firms across the U.S. She has served as a facilitator for leadership workshops and as an adjunct professor in the areas of communication, professional writing, and ethics.
